Job Advertisement: Security Coordinator

The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS youth home Rebecka receives non-compulsory school-age girls with psychosocial issues as well as criminality and substance abuse.

Job Description

As a Security Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the institution's systematic security work. You will work operationally with security-related issues such as risk and security assessments. Your tasks will include coordinating planning, implementation, and follow-up of security work at the institution. You will also be responsible for coordinating the implementation and development of local routines, instructions, and action plans within the security area. Important and prioritized tasks initially will include coordinating the implementation of security assessments and the institution's incident reporting (ISAP). The responsibility includes quality assurance and evaluation of reports, distribution to incident handlers, and follow-up.

It will also be your task to assist the institution manager with situational reports from the incident reporting system. You will coordinate the drug prevention work at the institution, coordinate the institution's information security work, and be the contact person for intelligence information from the authorities' intelligence operators. As a Security Coordinator, you will be involved in introductions, training, and exercises within the security area.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with education in the security field or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. You should have experience in security work and enjoy developing routines and working methods. Experience in handling incidents and serious events is a requirement. You should have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing and have practical experience in areas such as exercises, training, and risk and security assessments. You also have good computer skills (Office suite). Some experience in technical physical security work is desirable. It is an advantage to have experience working with compulsory care or deprivation of liberty. You take great responsibility for your work and have good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you are analytical and pedagogical.

Employment:

The position is a fixed-term employment for six months. The position is full-time.
